Acknowledgement Of Country

Know Your Care acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waters and communities across Australia.  We recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country — including land, waters, skies, culture, knowledge and community.

 

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge emerging leaders who continue to care for Country and share knowledge across generations.

We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have cared for this continent for tens of thousands of years.

We acknowledge the enduring strength, resilience and contribution of First Nations peoples to Australia’s health, culture and community life.
